About 45 minutes from Jaco, at the top of a beautiful mountain, sits 40 acres of well manicured botanical gardens and wild birds. At Jardin Pura Vida you meander along paved walkways planted with over one million flowering plants, see Costa Rica’s tallest waterfall and take in the spectacular views of the Pacific and surrounding mountains. You’re sure to see Scarlet Macaws and Toucans (you can even feed them) and may see the family of White Faced Monkeys that live in the area. If you have your own car, that’s a great way to get there. If you would like a package trip, including transportation and a fruit snack, we can arrange for their van to pick you up at the hotel. The trip runs from 7:30am-2pm.
